Of Shakes and Such

Meals are always the best form of nutrition, but sometimes I drink shakes.  Here is what I do:

“Bull Shake”

1 cup of liquid egg whites
1 Advocare meal replacement packet
1 Tbsp of peanut butter
1 handful of organic kale, spinach, or broccoli (all mild flavored greens)
3-4 frozen strawberries (optional)
1/2 cup of water

I use a Magic Bullet for this as I’ve found it to be a little more convenient than the big traditional blenders and more efficient than the small hand blender varieties.  Eating healthy for a whole day is not easy, but if you can get the first meal right, you only have a few more to go.
